New Information on Fire Emblem Fates

Nintendo recently revealed new information on the release of Fire Emblem Fates, as well as new marriage mechanics. Similar to the release in Japan, the game will be released with two different versions detailing two different stories. These two versions will be known as Fire Emblem Fates Conquest and Fire Emblem Fates Birthright. A special third story will be made available as DLC at some point after launch.

Additionally, it appears that Nintendo stayed true on their word after Tomodachi Life, as this game will support limited gay marriage. When playing Conquest, there is a male character in the game with whom the male avatar can marry. Similarly, when playing Birthright there is a female character with whom the female avatar can do the same. These are apparantly the only opportunities you have in the two main quests, although both of these characers appear in the third quest.
