Pokemon Sun and Moon Officially announced

Today, the Pokemon Company held a special Direct to talk about the 20th anniversary. The biggest news to come was the official reveal of Pokemon Sun and Moon, the first titles of the 7th Generation of Pokemon. The names and logos of these titles leaked a day ago, but this official confirmation also came with a worldwide release window of Holiday 2016, and several pieces of concept art. No gameplay was shown. Additionally, it was announced that the Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow Virtual Console releases on 3DS will be compatible with Pokemon Bank, allowing players to transfer Pokemon from Gen 1 straight to Gen 7. News about these titles will continue to come throughout the year
