Pokemon Direct Coming Friday

Earlier today, Pokemon and Nintendo announced that a special Pokemon themed Nintendo Direct will be airing on Friday, February 26th at 10am EST. The event will only last 5 minutes, but promises to share big news about the franchise. A similar event was done around 3 years ago with the announcement of the Generation 6 games, X and Y, so expecting a new game announcement is pretty fair. The direct will be broadcast worldwide, and it is interesting to note that it will be at the exact 20th anniversary of the franchise, being midnight in Japan, February 27th. Stay tuned for the results of this announcement.
