Today, Nintendo released various dates and strategies for how several unreleased Amiibo in the Super Smash Bros series would be released. On September 11th, Olimar, Zero Suit Samus, Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, and Bowser Jr will all be released. This release coincides with the release of Super Mario Maker, as well as the Retro Mario Amiibo. Then, on September 25th, a Retro 3-Pack featuring R.O.B., Duck Hunt, and Mr. Game & Watch will be released. These three characters will only be made available through this pack. Lastly, it was announced that the Mii Fighters, originally slated for September, would be pushed back to November, and would also be released exclusively in their own 3-pack.
RUMORS - Along with all this information, plenty of rumors surrounding where these characters can be found have also surfaced. On August 8th, GameStop will be holding a pre-order event for the Retro 3-Pack, which they are supposedly exclusive to their store. Rumors of Dr. Mario being exclusive to Target, and Bowser Jr. to Toys R' Us are also very prevolent. None of this is confirmed though, so don't take it as truth quiet yet.
