After around two months without a permanent leader, Nintendo announced that the successor to the late Satoru Iwata would be Tatsumi Kimishima. Kimishima has been involved with the company for a long time, even being president of Nintendo of America before Reggie took over. It is said that he wishes to continue the plans that Iwata set in motion, not wanting to start a revolution during such an important time for the comapany. His contract is only valid for a year though, leading many to wonder if he is a temporary solution, rather than a permanent one. Other reports state that he is much more of a buisness man, and that he is open to an outsider running the company in the future.
